President Sahle-Work sends message of condolence to Kenyans on passing of former president

Addis Ababa, April 23, 2022 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has sent letter of condolence to Kenyan people over passing away of former president Mwai Kibaki.

“Greatly saddened by the news of the passing of the third President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki. His support to me as the first DG-UNON was critical. My heartfelt condolences to my brother President Uhuru Kenyatta, the government and the brotherly people of Kenya,” President Sahle-Work Zewde said.

Mwai Kibaki, who served as Kenya’s third president from 2003 to 2013, has died aged 90, President Uhuru Kenyatta said on Friday.
