Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed extends Ethiopian New Year greetings

Addis Ababa, September 10, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended best wishes to all Ethiopians over the New Year to be begion on tomorrow, September 10, 2021.

Ethiopians celebrate this year’s new year amidst tribulations and hope of a brighter future, the Premier said. “It is know a new phenomenon to Ethiopia to observe new years in such circumstances,”

“The whole world knows that we Ethiopians do not surrender to predicaments. We are in a good position to turn this predicament into an opportunity that will place Ethiopia among the countries remembered by the world for doing so,” Abiy underlined.

“Those which antagonizing Ethiopia are the ones that do know it. They don’t understand the way Ethiopia has preserved its freedom. Ethiopia is thriving defending all that came against her sovereignty,” he noted.

“I believe the new year becomes the time Ethiopia overcomes the challenges that it encountered for thirty years, Ethiopians ensure prosperity, enjoy democratic values and fruits of the ongoing reforms and multinational unity,” the Premier underscored.
