Residents of Addis Ababa and Surrounding Oromia Special Zone denounce TPLF in a massive rally in the capital

Addis Ababa, August 8, 2021 (FBC) – Hundreds of thousands of people drawn from Addis Ababa and the Surrounding Oromia Special Zone have denounced the terrorist TPLF in a massive pro-government rally under the motto of “I March to Save Ethiopia” that took place at Meskel Square in the capital.

Demonstrators have praised gallantry of the National Defence Forces and regional special forces who are paying sacrifices to counter belligerence from the terrorist group.

They vowed support to the national army and regional special forces and reaffirmed readiness to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation from any internal and external force.

People in the rally also denounced external powers who are trying to interfere with domestic issues of Ethiopia and called on them to refrain from any unwelcome meddling in internal affairs of the nation.

The demonstrators carried placards that read “We stand in Unison to Safeguard Sovereignty of Our Beloved Nation”, “We have a History of Gallantry not Treachery”. “We No More Tolerate Atrocities and Looting of the Terrorist TPLF”, “OLF-Shene is Enemy of Oromia People”, among others.
