Addis residents protest against TPLF junta, show support to defence army

Addis Ababa, July 22, 2021 (FBC) -Residents of Addis Ababa this morning staged a demonstration to protest against the TPLF junta and show their support to the defence army.

The demonstration which took place at the Meskel Square was attended by government officials, including Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa city, Adanech Abiebie.

Speaking at the event, Adanech said “our internal and external enemies are working jointly to derail our reform process and journey to prosperity.”

“Together with our people, we will defeat these enemies who are striving to undermine our sovereignty, weaken our unity and deter our journey to prosperity,” she said.

President of Addis Ababa Women’s Association, Huluhagerish Tazeze for her part said the terrorist TPLF is the enemy of both the people of Tigary and Ethiopians.
