Russian Ambassador Evgeny Terekhin extends Easter wishes to all Ethiopian Christians

Addis Ababa, April 16, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ethiopia, Evgeny Terekhin has extended his best wishes to all Ethiopian Christians on the Easter festival.

“Jesus Christ Christ’s resurrection brings the full and final redemption of all creation in which every believer will receive a new hope,” the Ambassador said.

Ambassador Evgeny said Russia and Ethiopia use the same calendar and celebrate the Easter holiday the same day, adding that the peoples of the two nations share many traditional values.

Saying that the two countries stood shoulder to shoulder in several difficult situations, Ambassador Evgeny reiterated the commitment of his country to boost the longstanding ties with Ethiopia in multifaceted areas of cooperation.
