Senior gov’t officials meet with WB Vice President for East, Southern Africa

Addis Ababa, March 24, 2023 (FBC) – Various women ministers, Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie held discussion with Victoria Kwakwa, Vice President of the World Bank for Eastern and Southern Africa.

In their discussion, it was noted that they advised on development issues, empowering women, and strengthening cooperation.

Victoria Kwakwa, Vice President of the World Bank for Eastern and Southern Africa, is on a working visit to Ethiopia. She has already held discussions with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Governor of National Bank of Ethiopia Mamo Mihretu, and Finance Minister Ahmed Shide.
