Some 25 contending parties choose their electoral symbols
Addis Ababa, January 22, 2021 (FBC) – National Electoral Board of Ethiopia announced that some 25 contending political parties have chosen their electoral symbols ahead of the upcoming national elections.
It is stated that contending parties that have not yet chosen their symbols out of those made available by the board can bring their own signs to the board.
Registered parties have been urged to choose their own electoral symbols presenting in person at center of political parties headquarters from January 21 – 26, 2021.
Out of 53 political parties, 25 are said to have chosen their own electoral symbols from those availed by the board.
Ethiopia has so far announced national election to be in June 2021.
