Terrorist TPLF inflicts over 6 billion birr damage to Woldia University

Addis Ababa, December 24, 2021 (FBC) – The terrorist TPLF inflicted over 6 billion birr damage to Woldia University, President of the institution said.

President of Woldia University, Abebbe Girma (PhD) told local media that the terrorist organizations destroyed administrative buildings, laboratories, ICT infrastructures, liberaries and burned down books and other teaching equipment worth more than 6 billion birr.

Teachers and other workers of the University who defected to the TPLF participated in the vandalism the terrorist organization carried out in the institution, the President added.

Activities have been started to resume the teaching learning process in the university, he stated, adding all stakeholders to support the efforts.

President also recounted horrendous atrocities committed by the terrorist group in Woldia during its occupation in the area.
