Turkiye’s Beykent University desirous to open a hospital in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2022 (FBC) – General Coordinator of Beykent University Hospital of Turkiye, Dr. Kerım Koray, discussed with the Deputy Head of Mission of Ethiopia in Ankara, Ambassador Mule Tarekun on how to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the health sector.

The Deputy Head of Mission briefed Dr. Kerım Koray on the favorable investment opportunities in Ethiopia and incentives put in place by the government to encourage foreign investors.

Dr. Kerım Koray, on his part, expressed the interest of his institution to open a hospital in Ethiopia, the first of its kind to be initiated outside the Turkiye, and requested the mission to provide them with the necessary support.

He further affirmed commitment to hold a pre-investment visit to Ethiopia to assess the opportunity.

Beykent University Hospital has been providing medical services in 36 different medical departments with 188 inpatient beds, a heliport and well equipped air ambulance service.
