UNODC pledges support to Federal Police Commission of Ethiopia in capacity building sector

Addis Ababa, March 8, 2022 (FBC) – The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime pledges to help the Federal Police Commission of Ethiopia enhance its capacity.

A delegation of the UNODC led by East Africa Regional Director, Neil J. Walsh discussed with Ethiopian Federal Police Commissioner General Demelash Gebremichael on various areas of cooperation including controlling organized cross border crimes.

The two sides agreed to fight together cross border crimes, terrorism, human trafficking and drug smuggling and illegal arms trade in the region.
