EIC: Africure expediating implementation of supplying quality, affordable medicine to Ethiopians

Addis Ababa, October 26, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) reiterated that the government will continue providing support to the enterprises in Kilinto Industrial Park.

The EIC team, led by deputy commissioner, Daniel Teressa, visited the project status of Kilinto Industrial Park enterprises; Africure Ethiopia Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, an Ethiopian and Foreign joint investment project, and Prime Point Pharmaceuticals Packaging on Wednesday.

During the visit, the team talked through with the project promoters of Prime Point Pharmaceuticals Packaging about the next steps.

Prime Point Packaging is lined up to manufacture packaging materials for pharmaceuticals.

Africure is also expediting its implementation with a vision of supplying quality and affordable medicine to Ethiopians with high import substitution value.

With more than 90% completion level, the factory is expected to play an important role in tech & knowledge transfer in the sector

After discussing the current issues of the enterprises in Kilinto IP, the deputy commissioner reiterated the Ethiopian government’s continued support.
