Ethiopia marks International Labor Day

Addis Ababa, May 1, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia has marked the International Labor Day (May Day) for the 45th time today under the theme “Save the Community from COVID 19, Scale up Productivity!”

The International Labor Day is observed every year to pay tribute to the contribution of workers across the world

This year’s celebration is unique as it is being marked by staying home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

In his May Day massage, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed urged workers to do all they can while observing the day to defeat the pandemic
