Diplomats, MoFA officials deliberate on ensuring Ethiopia’s readiness to utilize AfCFTA

Addis Ababa, January 16, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian ambassadors and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia deliberated on ensuring Ethiopia’s readiness to properly utilize the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and ways to finalize Ethiopia’s ongoing negotiation process to join World Trade Organization (WTO).

Tagesse Mulugeta, a higher official at the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration tabled an article for discussion and Ambassador Eshete Tilahun, Head of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Ethiopia moderated the insightful discussion.
