A 4.4-magnitude earthquake occurs in Eritrea

Addis Ababa, December 25, 2020 (FBC) -An earthquake of 4.4- magnitude on the Richter scale has occurred 91 kms northwest of Agordat, Eritrea.

It occurred at 1:22am last night, said Yemane G. Meskel, Eritrea’s Minister of Information.

“No loss of life/damage to property reported,” he tweeted.

According to Yemane, a team of experts will be dispatched to the area for further, on the ground, assessment of the situation.
