AAU confers Professorship on 12 academics

Addis Ababa, April 6, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa University has announced the conferment of the title of Professor on its 12 academics who have long served in the academic and research fields in the institution.

The academics who earned are said to have contributed a lot in learning-teaching, research study, community-based services and curriculum development aspects.

According to Public Relations Office of the University, the University’s Management Board has decided to confer the professorship based on thorough assessments conducted by respective educational faculties and departments.

Dr. Yilma Seleshi, Dr. Alemu Mekonnen, Dr. Alemayehu Geda, Dr. Asefa Feseha, Dr. Nigatu Kebede, Dr. Girma Zerayohannes, Dr. Shemelis Admasu, Dr. Mulugeta Atnafu, Dr. Getachew Terefe, Dr. Gebeyehu Goshu, Dr. Bersisa Kumsa and Dr. Atalay Ayele are the scholars of the university who have been conferred with the professorship.
