Addis Ababa, Buenos Aires advise to exchange experience on several spheres

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation headed by the Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina to participate in the C40 World Mayors Summit.

Mayor Adanech Abiebie discussed bilateral issues with the Mayor of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodríguez Laret, and Urban and Municipal Development Fund manager at African Development Bank, Ole Stubdrup, in Buenos Aires, according to the Mayor’s office.

In their discussion, they advised to cooperate and exchange experience, especially in urban modern waste disposal and climate protection system, as well as education sector and transportation development.

They also discussed the possibility of strengthening the bilateral relations between the cities.

The Moayor’s office stated that Addis Ababa is one of the C40 member cities that is undertaking various activities to prevent air pollution.
