Addis Ababa’s newest park opens to the public

Addis Ababa, August 28, 2022 (FBC) – Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie has today officially opened the city’s newest park entitled “Youth Square” to the public. 

During the inauguration ceremony, Adanech said “Ethiopia is a country of young population and the youth are the hope for the nation today and tomorrow.”

“It is our responsibility to involve the youth in the social, economic and political strides, and help the benefit from the respective outcomes,” the Mayor noted. The park situated some hundreds meters from the City Hall is equipped with recreational facilities.
