Additional 141 people diagnosed positive from coronavirus, 3 deaths reported

Addis Ababa, June 25, 2020 (FBC) – Ministry of Health confirmed 141 additional coronavirus cases out of 4,675sample tests conducted over the last twenty four hours.

The new report has brought the number of total confirmed cases in the county to 5,175.

Only two of newly infected people are foreign nationals while all the remaining are Ethipians their age ranges from 2 to 87 years, 81 of them are male and 60 female.

Of the new cases, 113 are from Addis Ababa, 15 from Oromia, 6 from Harari, 3 from Gambella, 3 from Somali, and 2 from Dire Dawa and Gambella each.

The Health Ministry has reported 3 more coronavirus deaths over the last day increasing the toll 81.

The Ministry further reported that 58 patients have recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,544

Ethiopia has now a total of 3,548 active cases, with 30 of them in a severe condition. The total number of tests conducted so far stands at 232,050.
