African youths possess great potential to determine future of the continent: DPM & FM Demeke

Addis Ababa, October 29, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, stated that the youths of Africa possess immense potential to determine the future of the continent.

The first African Prospective Youth Summit is being held at the African Union Conference Center in Addis Ababa.

During his opening remarks, DPM & FM Demeke Mekonnen commended the massive potential of the youths of Africa.

He also stated that the purpose of the Summit is to utilize this great potential through unity.

In addition, the conference aims to strengthen the efforts to shape Africa as prosperous and free from all influences, according to the post on Facebook by Prosperity Party.

Young prospects from more than 50 countries are participating in the conference at the AU HQ in Addis Ababa.

It has been stated that the event aims to introduce the concept and philosophy of Pan-Africanism to the new generation of Africa and strengthen solidarity.
