Agreement signed to digitize Ethiopia’s tourism industry

Addis Ababa, March 23, 2021 (FBC) –The Ministry of Innovation and Technology and the Ministry of Culture have signed an agreement to digitize Ethiopia’s tourism industry.

The agreement aims to increase the growth of the tourism industry by improving tourism infrastructure development, data management and dissemination, marketing and promotional works.

Developing online gallery and exhibition website, e-library and automation, digitizing documents, building modern tourism monitoring and service delivery system are also parts of the agreement

The agreement was signed today by Abrham Belay, Minister of Innovation and Technology and Dr Hirut Kassaw, Minister of Culture and Tourism.
