All constituencies deliver election results to board, final result to be unveiled this week

Addis Ababa, July 5, 2021 (FBC) – Communications Head of the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), Solyana Shemelis stated that all constituencies have delivered election results to the board, adding that final results will be unveiled by the board at the end of this week.

The last 30 constituencies which have been awaited long have submitted the ballot results to the board, Solyana said. All the results collected will be verified by the chairperson of the Electoral Board, Birtukan Mideksa, she indicated.

She also announced verified results in various constituencies across the country. Accordingly, President of the Prosperity Party (PP), Dr. Abiy Ahmed fielded at Gomma 2 constituency has won in landslide with 27,692 votes for parliamentary seat.

On the other hand, former Chairperson of National Movement of Amhara (NaMa) has won parliamentary seat at constituency in Bahir Dar City.
