Amb. Nebil meets with South Sudanese Minister of Defense

Addis Ababa, October 5, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to South Sudan, Nebil Mahdi, held a meeting with Lt. Gen. Chol Thon J. Balok, Minister of Defense and Veteran Affairs of the Republic of South Sudan.

According to the Ethiopian Embassy in Juba, the Ambassador briefed the Minister of the current state of affairs in Ethiopia.

The South Sudanese Defense Minister appreciated and acknowledged the historical support of Ethiopia to the Republic of South Sudan in the challenging times.

During the meeting, they have exchanged views on ways of enhancing cooperation in capacity building and strengthening experience sharing programs between the two countries.
