Ambassador Nebil confers with Tut Gatluak, security adviser to President Salva Kiir

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador Nebil Mahdi held a discussion with Tut Gatluak, Security Affairs Advisor to the President of South Sudan Republic, Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The Ambassador updated Tut Gatluak on the subject of the “Agreement for Lasting Peace through a Permanent Cessation of Hostilities between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and TPLF” and the progress to date.

Security Affairs Advisor Tut Gatluak, for his part, expressed appreciation to the Ethiopian Government for the constructive initiative taken and said peace in Ethiopia has a fundamental effect on the peace and stability of the whole region.

Likewise, the two sides have exchanged views on further mutual concerns pertaining to bilateral and regional peace and stability issues, as per MFA Ethiopia.
