Efforts Underway to Provide Displaced Students with Schooling: Bureau

Addis Ababa, October 14, 2021 (FBC) – Education Bureau of Amhara Regional State says activities are underway for the provision of education to displaced students sheltered in the region.

Vice Bureau head, Mulaw Abebe, has told EPA that preparations have been made for displaced students get access to regular schooling in this Ethiopian academic year.

He cited East Gojam as an example that the zone now is admitting displaced students into schools including into the privately owned ones.

It is to be recalled that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Tigray, Amhara and Afar regional states by the conflict TPLF is spreading.
