Addis Ababa, March 15, 2023 (FBC) – Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Workneh Gebeyehu, conferred today in Addis Ababa with U.S. Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken.
Their discussion, according to Workneh’s post on Twitter, focused on the issues pertaining to IGAD’s essential role in regional peace and security architecture.
He confirmed that the two officials pledged to continue enhancing the IGAD-U.S. strategic partnership.
