Ancelotti Confirms Casemiro is Joining Man Utd

Addis Ababa, August 19, 2022 (FBC) – Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the 30 year old Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, has decided to join English giants Manchester United.

Speculations have been developing in the past 4 days that Casemiro is Manchester United’s new target, and now his current manager has told reporters that the Brazilian is leaving Real Midrid for Erik ten Hag’s side.  

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed on his Friday press conference that Casemiro has definitely decided to join Manchester United:  “I have spoken with Casemiro, and he wants to try a new challenge, so we understand his decision” said the Italian manager.

”Negotiations are ongoing, but he has decided to leave Real Madrid, we still love him and respect his plan” added Ancelotti. “Casemiro will not play on Saturday. Yesterday I realised it was a real thing [Casemiro to Man Utd]”.

Casemiro is expected to cost Man United €60 million plus €10 million add-ons. Man. United fans were not happy with their club’s summer transfer business, especially, after loosing their opening two games of the premier league season 2022/23.
