Anti-TPLF demonstration underway in Sidama Region

Addis Ababa, November 11, 2020 (FBC) – Thousands of demonstrators have taken to streets of Hawassa City denouncing the treason committed by Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) against the National Defense Forces of Ethiopia.

Demonstrators dressed up with cultural clothing of Sidama People have flocked to Millennium Square of Hawassa City since 6:AM this morning echoing pro-government voices demanding continued law enforcement measures against the TPLF Junta who has put nation’s sovereignty at risk.

Waving the Flag of Ethiopia and resonating slogans heralding support to the National Defense Forces, the demonstrators expressed their firm desire to see the TPLF junta appeared before justice.

They affirmed any necessary support to the law enforcement measures being taken by the government to ensure law and order in the country.

They echoed slogans like “Ethiopia will not be dismantled by perpetration of the TPLF Junta”, “We stand with the National Defense Force,”, “and Ethiopia will prevail”
