ASTEWLOT film inaugurated in presence of PM Abiy Ahmed

Addis Ababa, April 16, 2024 (FBC) – ASTEWLOT, a film produced by the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII), inaugurated today in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

Director General of the Institute, Engineer Worku Gachena highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for future betterment of the world.

The Director General hailed Prime Minister Abiy for his immense contribution for the development of the sector citing the establishment of the institute and the encouraging achievements so far registered in the sector.

He said currently the institute is engaged in various activities vital for the advancement of the country stressing the need to intensify efforts to further strengthen the sector.

ASTEWLOT is a scientific film based on a true story, it was learned, ENA reported.

The film is produced by the institute in collaboration with Sewugna Films Production Company.
