Bahr Dar City FC take on Azam FC in the 2nd leg of CAF CC qualifiers today

Addis Ababa, August 25, 2023 (FBC) – Bahr Dar City Football Club will play the second leg of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round match against Azam FC of Tanzania later today.

The match between the two clubs will be played at Azam Complex Stadium at 7:00 pm.

Bahr Dar City, also known as The Waves of Tana, registered a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture on August 20, 2023, at Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa thanks to a brace by the winger Fitsum Tilahun.

It is known that the Bahr Dar City FC, led by head coach Degarege Yigzaw, is heading to Tanzania aiming to reach the next round.

If the Waves of Tana go through to the next round, they will play against Tunisia’s Club Africain.

After finishing second in the 2022/23 Ethiopian Premier League season, Bahr Dar City FC is participating in its maiden outing in the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
