Belayneh Kinde Group electric vehicle assembly plant goes operational

Addis Ababa, June 22, 2023 (FBC) – Belayneh Kinde Group electric vehicle assembly plant built in Debre Berhan city goes operational, the Group told FBC today.

“The vehicle assembly plant has started assembling of electric passenger vehicles: minibus, mini coach bus and city bus,” Belayneh Kinde Group Communications Director Setegn Engdaw told Fana Broadcasting Corporate.

The Communications Director stated that the assembling plant has set off operations in Debre-Berhan and Gelan centers to market 216 minibuses in the first round.

Mr. Setegn recalled that 2 billion Birr was spent on the electric vehicle assembly plant built in Debre Berhan city.
