Belgium counterpart, FM of Poland send congratulatory message to DPM, FM Demeke 

Addis Ababa, October 15, 2021 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs of Belgium Sophie Wilmes congratulated her Ethiopian counterpart Demeke Mekonnen on his re-election.

Belgian counterpart told Mr. Demeke that her country will support Ethiopia in addressing current circumstances pledging continued and strong bilateral relationships.

Similarly, Foreign Affairs Minister of Poland Zbigniew Rau has sent a congratulatory message to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen for being elected for another term.

Ethiopia is a dependable pathway for Poland for its partnership with Sub-Saharan African countries as a diplomatic and political hub of the Horn and the entire region, Prime Minister Zbigniew Rau underlined.

He also reitreated Poland’s commitment to cement longstanding ties with Ethiopia.
