Bureau to begin registration of people in need of building houses under association

Addis Ababa, March 23, 2021 (FBC) –The Addis Ababa Housing Development and Administration Bureau is set to begin next week registration of people in need of building homes under housing association scheme next week.

Eligible for the registration are only those who have been waiting to get houses after registering for 20/80 and 40/60 housing schemes in 2013, the bureau said.

The registration will be held online, the bureau added, adding a person who won the lottery draw is expected to deposit 70% of the construction cost of the house.

According to the bureau, women and civil servants will get 30% and 20% priority, respectively.
