Chief Administrator hails agricultural transformation in Somali Region

Addis Ababa, October 9, 2022 (FBC) – Chief Administrator of the Somali Regional State, Mustafa Omer highlighted the significance of producing food crops in addressing impact of drought and inflation in a sustainable manner.

Somali Region Agricultural Transformation plan has 4 pillars; lowland water management, increasing production and productivity, livestock sector modernization, and marketing, according to the Chief Administrator.

The efforts underway in the region towards achieving goals of the agricultural transformation is promising, Mustafa added.
