Military chiefs of various African countries to attend 116th ENDF Day
Addis Ababa, October 24, 2023 (FBC) – The 116th Ethiopian Defense Forces Day will be attended by chief of staff and military leadership of various African countries, the FDRE Defense Forces said in a press briefing.
Ethiopia is marking the 116th Day of Defense Forces this week with various events across all parts of the nation.
The 116th Defense Forces Day celebration is a great opportunity to establish a common front and promote the country’s potential, Director-General of the FDRE Defense Forces External Relations and Military Cooperation Directorate, Major General Teshome Gemechu, said.
Maj.-Gen. Teshome Gemechu said the 116th Military Day celebrations will be attended by the Chiefs of Staff and military leaders of various African countries.
During their stay in Addis Ababa, the guests will exchange experiences on various bilateral issues and activities, he said, adding that the event will create a good opportunity for the guests to further explore Ethiopia.
