Children Should Go to School Not Terrorist Camps: Gambela town residents

Addis Ababa, July 26, 2021 (FBC) – Anti-TPLF rallies have continued for days in several parts of the country as the terrorist group intensifying its belligerence and attracts against civilians in the northern parts of the country.

Thousands of residents of Gambela town have today denounces the terrorist TPLF in a pro-government rally they staged today.

They chanted a slogan “Children Should Go to School Not Terrorist Camps” while condemning the use of child soldiers in the war the terrorist group has waged against civilians in northern Ethiopia.

They carried placards read: “Our Unity will not be disrupted with Machinations of the TPLF Junta”, “We stand by the National Defense Force in the fight against the terrorist Organization and its lapdogs”, “Glory for soldiers of the National Army who sacrificed their lives for sovereignty of the nation”, among others.

The same rallies have also been staged in towns of Asosa and Debre Markos towns. The demonstrators in all towns have denounced atrocities and terror acts of the TPLF and reaffirmed continued support to the national army.

People in the demonstrations have celebrated second filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and demand foreign powers stop meddling in international affairs of Ethiopia.
