China’s Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co Ltd to expand investment in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 16, 2023 (FBC) – An Ethiopian delegation led by Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy, Ambassador Dawano Kedir, participated at the China-Nordic Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and Hubei-Nordic Economic and Trade Forum.

The delegation tapped the forum to give detailed explanations about the booming investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

On the sidelines of the event, the delegation met with representatives China’s Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, a company operating in Debre Birhan town of the Amhara Regional State and recognized by the Government of Ethiopia as a best tax payer during the last two consecutive years.

The Ethiopian delegation reached an agreement Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co Ltd which expressed an interest to expand its investment in Ehtiopia.

Wuhuan Engneering group, another Chinese company which met with the delegation represented by its Deputy CEO, Wang Jiayi has also showed keen interest to engage in fertilizer production in Ethiopia.
