Chinese Hunan Province keen on investing in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 20, 2023 (FBC) -Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Daniel Teressa along with the representatives of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce met Chinese business delegates from Hunan Province.

During the meeting the two sides discuss strategies to strengthen business and investment ties between Ethiopia and the Chinese Hunan Province.

Deputy Commissioner Daniel shared Ethiopia’s investment opportunities and the ongoing government’s economic reforms effort.

Representatives of the Chamber and Chinese delegates also discussed mechanisms to cooperate on different business and investment areas.

The Chinese delegates invited Ethiopian companies to participate in the upcoming China Africa Economic and Trade Expo 2023.
