Chinese mining, energy companies preparing to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, January 17, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing held discussion with China Africa Economic and Trade working Committee which is arranging pre-investment tour for several Chinese companies that have shown interest to utilize investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

A delegation to make a pre-investment visit to Ethiopia includes representatives of companies engaged in health, mining, energy and education sectors.

As of next month, representatives of the companies will travel to Ethiopia to explore the investment opportunities and make all the necessary arrangement for their future engagement in the manufacturing industry of the country, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing.
