Conference Pinpoints Rise of Youth Unemployment

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2021 (FBC) – A conference discussing youth job creation is happening in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital.

Addressing the conference, Women, Children and Social Affairs State Minister, Muna Ahmed, has said that even though Ethiopia is one of the African nations registering rapid economic growth for years, millions of youth are still unemployed.

She adds that unemployment is rising over the past years.

The state minister has also told the audience that her government is offering various trainings and other requisites that enable the youth to create jobs.
