Confirmed coronavirus cases in Ethiopia reach 58,672

Addis Ababa, September 7, 2020 (FBC) – Confirmed coronavirus cases in Ethiopia have reached including 1,206 new infections the country reported on Sunday.

The new cases have been detected out of 25,158 laboratory tests conducted in 24 hours.

According to Ministry of Health, 21 people have succumbed to the virus so that the death toll in the country reached 918.

Moreover, 531 additional patients have recovered from the disease taking number of recoveries in to 21,307.

There are currently 36,445 acitive cases in the country of which 308 are in severe condtion.

The total number of people tested so far has reached 1,044,005.
