Denmark contributes 10mln USD to ensure access to clean water in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 23, 2022 (FBC) – The Government of Denmark has contributed 10 million USD support to ensure sustainable access to clean water in Ethiopia.

Ambassador of Denmark to Ethiopia, Kira Smith Sindbjerg highlighted impact of the drought in Somali region and explained why clean water is crucial in improving the lives of women and children.

She said Denmark is committed to continue support to the WASH Programme being implemented in Ethiopia. Kira Smith Sindbjerg said Denmark wants to see all schools equipped with hand washing and other sanitation facilities.
