Deputy PM, FM Demeke Mekonnen arrives in India for official visit
Addis Ababa, February 17 ,2021 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen has arrived in New Delhi for an official visit to India.
During his four-day visit, Demeke will meet with Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India to discuss bilateral issues of mutual concern.
He is also expected to inaugurate the new Ethiopian embassy chancery and residence.
Last Monday, Demeke also inaugurated Ethiopia’s new embassy building in Ankara, Turkey
