Derartu Tulu Elected Deputy President Of African Athletics

Addis Ababa, April 27, 2023 (FBC) – Africa’s first women Olympic gold medalist, president of Ethiopian Athletics Federation and the assistant commissioner of the East African Athletics Region,a thlete Derartu Tulu has elected as the Deputy president of African Athletics Federation.

The confederation of African Athletics concludes its meeting today in Lusaka, Zambia.

Members of the African Athletics Federation council voted for her unanimously so that she will be leading the continental Federation, according to the Ethiopian Athletics federation.
