Dessie Youth Heading to War Front to Shatter TPLF

Addis Ababa, October 26, 2021 (FBC) – The youths in Dessie city of Amhara region are heading to the war front to defeat the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), the faction designated a terrorist by the Ethiopian House of Peoples’ Representatives.

TPLF is currently causing atrocities in Amhara, Afar and Tigray regional states by killing civilians, looting and vandalizing property, and recruiting children to fight in the war.

The Dessie youths thus have vowed to ‘smash’ the Junta that “had caused various repressions” on them in its nearly three decades in power administering the whole nation of Ethiopia.

Their number is cited to be “in thousands”. These use are said to have acquired military trainings.

One of the organizers has said that residents of the whole city have expressed readiness in supporting the war till its (victorious) conclusion, as it is waged against TPLF to save Ethiopia’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
