Djibouti pledges enhanced economic cooperation with Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 11, 2022 (FBC) – Secretary-General of the Popular Rally for Progress (RPP) and Minister of Economy and Finance of Djibouti, Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh said his country is committed to the strong and longstanding bond with Ethiopia.

Prosperity Party has brought peace, stability and political reform in Ethiopia by winning the heart and mind of Ethiopians, and undertaking inclusive economic and social development activities for the benefit of Ethiopians, he noted.

PRP of Djibouti will give a due respect for PP, Government of Ethiopia at large for facilitating national reconciliation process. National dialogue will bring lasting solutions to the overall problems Ethiopia is currently facing with, he said.

Peace, development and prosperity , we appreciate the efforts being exerted by Prosperity Party and the Government and Ethiopians at large for maintaining the unity, territorial integrity and severity of the nation.

Ethiopia is working hard to bring economic integration in the region with a spirit of Medemer philosophy. Djibouti and Ethiopia are working strengthening economic cooperation to build better future for their peoples.

The destiny of peoples of Ethiopia and Djibouti is inextricably linked, he said, calling strong cooperation between the two countries for mutual benefit of their people.
