Djiboutian investors express interest to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2023 (FBC) – Djiboutian delegation led by President of Chamber of Commerce of Djibouti, Yesuf Mussa Dawaleh has visited Kilinto and Bole Lemi industrial parks in Ethiopia.

Members of the Djiboutian delegation have been briefed on investment opportunities, incentives put in place by the government, job creation activities in industrial parks and technology transfer undertakings in Ethiopia.

It is stated on the occasion that the newly inaugurated Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone (DDFTZ) is an ideal investment site for Djiboutian business because of its geographical proximity to the country. And, the Djiboutian investors are invited to tap opportunities in DDFTZ.

Yesuf Mussa Dawaleh, to his part, said the Chamber of Commerce will facilitate conditions to cajole Djiboutian investors to invest in DDFTZ, and pledged all the necessary support to this end.
