Education Ministry inks MoU with Geongsangbuk-do Province of Republic of Korea

Addis Ababa, January 11, 2024 (FBC) – The Ministry of Education has signed MoU with the Office of Education of Geongsangbuk-do Province of Republic of Korea to forge cooperation in various areas.

The purpose of the MoU is said to establish a framework of cooperation on educational information exchange and implementation of digital learning strategy between the Ethiopian Ministry of Education and the Office of Education of Geongsangbuk-do Province of Republic of Korea.

According to the MoU, Geongsangbuk-do Office of Education will also provide the Ministry with ICT equipment and offer training to designated Ethiopian teachers on provision of educational information.

Ethiopia’s State Minister for Education, Ayelech Eshete and Head of Education Division at Geongsangbuk-do Office of Education Lim Jong Sik have signed the MoU representing their institutions.
