EIC commissioner confers with Diamond Aircraft CEO on potential investments in Ethiopia’s aviation industry

Addis Ababa, March 22, 2023 (FBC) – Lelise Neme, Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, met with Liqun Zhang, CEO of Diamond Aircraft and his team to discuss potential investments in Ethiopia’s aviation industry.

Chinese-owned Diamond Aircraft is amongst the leading aircraft manufacturer in general aviation aircraft and motor gliders, it is indicated.

The commissioner provided details on the opportunities, incentive package, and implemented legal reforms and high degree of commitment on the part of the Ethiopian government.
