EIH, TMSA sign MoU on cooperation and investment in logistics

Addis Ababa, September 29, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) and Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on areas of cooperation and investment in logistics.

The MoU includes the execution of feasibility by TMSA and Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE) to partner investing, upgrade facilities of ESLSE at Qality [Addis Ababa], make it a comprehensive logistics hub, and serve cargoes in transit to the Capital and its surroundings.

A delegation led by the CEO of EIH, Mamo Mihretu, has made a working visit to Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA), a Moroccan State-Owned-Enterprise, operating in the field of port/ terminals and logistics.

The delegation comprising of Mamo, management staff of EIH, and CEO of ESLSE, Roba Megersa, met and discussed with the CEO of TMSA, Mehdi Tazi Riffi, on investment partnership opportunities in the development and operations of inland ports and value-adding logistics services in Ethiopia.
