Embassy invites Japanese tourists to experience Ethiopia’s wonderful tourist attractions
Addis Ababa, December 21, 2022 (FBC) – The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Tokyo hosted a cultural promotion Event in coordination with the Minato International Association on the 20th of December 2022.
In his welcoming remarks, Yohannes Fanta Woldegiorgis, Charge d’Affaires, noted the longstanding diplomatic and people-to-people relations between Ethiopia and Japan.
According to the Embassy, he also highlighted as Ethiopia is a cradle of human beings and the origin of Coffee.
Mentioning the UNESCO tangible and intangible world heritages Ethiopia is acquainted with, Yohannes called on participants to visit Ethiopia.
At the event, participants were briefed on Ethiopia’s unique tangible and intangible heritages, calendar, alphabet, timing, cuisine, diverse culture and ways of life.
The longstanding relations between Ethiopia and Japan, attractive landscapes, diverse fauna and flora, Abebe Bikila’s success and Ethiopian athlete’s accomplishments, and recently introduced tourist destinations in Ethiopia are also covered in detail.
Ethiopian traditional Coffee ceremony was demonstrated and the participants tasted Ethiopian Coffee and coffee snacks, as per the Embassy’s post on social media.
